METTE MUHLI is a curator and photographer, based in Gothenburg and Lummerilund, Sweden. She is educated in Photography at Fotoskolan Göteborg, Art History and Visual Studies at University of Gothenburg, Curatorial Studies at Stockholm University and MA Curating at Aarhus University, Denmark. Mette finds her inspiration in Nordic art, nature and electronic music. Her work often catches everyday observations and human traces.
Currently Mette has a position as a curator at Skövde Art Museum. Her main focus is on building long-term relationships and expanding the museum’s outreach through curatorial research, interdisciplinary collaborations and educational projects. She is currently curating the museum’s artist in residency program, AiRS, and works as the editor of the museum’s book publications.
